"My Lottery Dream Home"

I know many of you might be living in an apartment or living in a small place which seems to grow smaller and smaller as days go by. And wouldn't it be great to win a chunk of change playing the lottery? You could get that house you've been dreaming about with everything you want inside: 2000+ square feet, open floor plan, turn key, huge master bedroom and bath suite, extra bedrooms, lots of storage all on an acre or so. Maybe it's near the ocean or a lake, or maybe some other locale you prefer.

Lately television has been dull as I normally watch true crime shows on I.D. I started watching programs on HGTV in the evening which mostly feature people searching for a new house or having their current homes renovated. One show in particular I found quite interesting is “My Lottery Dream Home” and it makes my little heart go pitter-patter over people winning money (the range is 700k into the millions). Tonight one woman won 15 million in Miami, Florida on a scratch-off. Can you imagine?? Later she and her husband were out for the evening and she won another $4000 in a casino!

The host of the show, David, takes the winners around to look at three homes based on their description and location of what they are wanting. It's cute, it's fun and gets you thinking “what if...” What I can't tell you is how long folks have been playing or how long it took them to win. The majority of the time most winners are hitting on these “scratchers” and most likely are paying $10 per ticket.

Winners are from all over the country, even Canada. Seeing the homes, the locations and the prices gives me ideas on what is possible. I've seen fantastic homes priced between $200k to $450k and with everything I want. While I do NOT play the lotto and generally haven't had much luck with “scratchers” (the $1 ones), one of these days cash is going to rain down hard so I can get my dream home. How about you?

Being naturally lucky is one thing, using a little magic to nudge things along is probably more helpful.
